As cold weather moves in, here is a reminder of where you can find updates on school delays, closures, and early release announcements!

Be sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming Thanksgiving Break days!

Be sure to come out and see Oliver Jr.!
November 22nd - 24th!

There will be no school for students on Friday, November 8th or Monday, November 11th!

We’d like to thank the First Capital Rotary for supporting two very important projects here at CCSD - Lisa Clark received $1500 for her literacy program at CMS, and Tabitha Muse received $1600 for her Project School Tools Initiative!
We greatly appreciate First Capital Rotary’s continued support of our students!

We'd like to thank all of our custodians and maintenance workers for keeping our buildings clean and running. It is because of you that our students have a clean and safe environment to learn in, and our teachers have a welcoming environment to teach!
If you see your custodians out and about today, be sure to thank them!

Power has been fully restored to our building and we will begin school on time tomorrow. Have a great night!

We'd like to remind everyone that conferences are tonight!

PreK-12th Grade conferences are Thursday, September 19th!

We would like to remind everyone that there will be no school on Monday, September 2nd, in observation of Labor Day! We’ll see everyone on Tuesday. Have a great and safe long weekend!

Good evening,
Don't forget that tomorrow, August 29th we will have picture day. Pictures will begin at 8:20 am.
Go Cavs!

Good evening,
We have made the decision to have early release tomorrow, due to the intense forecasted heat. This post includes the adjusted times for everyone to dismiss. Please plan accordingly!

Welcome Back, CMS!

We are so thrilled to welcome back our 1st - 12th grade students tomorrow! We are going to have such a fulfilling and exciting year full of learning, fun, and engaging experiences!

We would like to thank Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender, Elvis Merzlikins! Elvis has sponsored several of our 8th grade students, so that they are able to go on our annual Washington D.C. trip. We are so thankful for his contributions in helping our students and community. Good luck this season, and Go Jackets!

Happy 4th of July from CCSD! We hope everyone has a fun and safe day!

Chillicothe City Schools celebrates Juneteenth: Freedom Day. In honor of the holiday, all CCSD buildings are closed for the day!

School is *ALMOST* out for the year! Today is the final day for Kindergarten - 6th grade, and they will be released at their regular time. Tomorrow, May 22nd, is the last day for our 7th - 12th graders. These students will be released from school at 1:30pm on Wednesday. So close to summer!
