Happy Monday, Cavaliers!
Friday was a huge day for Cavalier Nation!
The Marching Cavaliers started September 5th off strong with a fantastic performance at Battle of the Bands, hosted by Pickaway-Ross!
Football Friday Night at the Obadiah Harris Family Athletic Complex was a massive success! We had a packed home side, honored our Future Cavalier football teams and cheer squads with Biddy Night, and achieved an awesome win against the Western Brown Broncos! It was an incredible night and a fantastic first home game of the season. We also had our first pyrotechnics and fireworks display, and honored one of our community sponsors, Arrow Construction. We’d like to thank them again!
We are so excited to see what all of our Cavaliers do next! Let’s have a stellar week, Cavs! 💙

AP Environmental Science students tested their knowledge of the Nitrogen Cycle this week by solving Tarsia puzzles in Mrs. Wilson's class!

We can’t wait for tomorrow’s big home opener! Our Chillicothe Cavaliers will be taking on the Western Brown Broncos at the Obadiah Harris & Family Athletic Complex!
Gates will open at 6:00PM, Kickoff will follow at 7:00PM! Be sure to get in early and secure your spot, because the first 100 fans will be receiving a free, Chillicothe Cavalier FAN to keep cool during the big game! 🏈💙

We would like to thank Jonathan and Laura Robinson, owners of Pursuit Packages - Amazon DSP - for donating 30 bookbags to Chillicothe Primary School, filled with school supplies and a water bottle for students who may be in need!
We're so grateful for this dedication to our schools and community!

We had lots of big smiles today at Chillicothe STEM Preschool as Mayor Luke Feeney joined us this morning to read to our kiddos! Our students were all ears and had such a great morning! 📖💙

Our Cross Country teams had a big weekend!
Chillicothe Middle School Girls Cross Country team took home 1st place at the Wellston Golden Rocket Invitational! Both our girls and boys team performed great!
Our high school cross country teams also ran this weekend!
Jayden Beverly flew to 1st place for the boys, and Gabby Maranzana placed 2nd for the girls at the Saturday Night Lights Centerville High School race! CHS Boys Cross Country also got 2nd in their division.
We couldn’t be more proud of all of our runners! 👟

All six of Mr. Dooley’s Physical Science classes are kicking off their unit on the Nature/Process of Science with a hands-on problem-solving challenge! Students worked in teams to lift and transport tennis balls using only strings and a ring—navigating obstacles and setting both balls on posts within three seconds of each other. The activity highlights how science is, at its core, all about creative problem solving! 🎾💙

Students in Ms. Schroeder’s 8th grade math classes and Mrs. Arledge’s 7th grade math classes took on a puzzle challenge—without a picture and with a few missing pieces! This activity helped set the stage for how they will learn to problem-solve this year and continue to encourage each other as the school year progresses!

Be sure to come out and support our Girls Volleyball team THIS WEDNESDAY as they take on our cross-town rivals, the Unioto Shermans! This is a game you won't want to miss - so let's pack the gym and BLUE OUT THE BLEACHERS!
