Ross County Sherriff Lavendar Takes School Safety Seriously, and So Does CCSD

School Safety

We applaud our local law enforcement officials and the courts for their efforts to keep schools, students, and staff safe - our top priority.  Students and their parents should know that if threats are made against the school they will be investigated and charges can be filed against the person determined to be responsible.  Parents of children making threats can be held financially responsible for costs incurred as part of the investigation which may include the use of K-9 units from other locations outside Ross County.  Please listen to the interview with Sheriff Lavender regarding the zero tolerance toward school threats and ensuring student safety in Ross County.
