CCSD Welcomes New Staff

Chelsea Brown

CCSD is pleased to welcome Ms. Chelsea Brown to the CHS High School Math Department.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University in December of 2016: Ms. Brown is in her first year of teaching.  She is from Georgetown, Kentucky: (Yes, she bleeds blue: Go CATS!)  and just moved to Ohio in March to be with her fiance, Matt Branham, and their adorable dog, Gunner.  In her spare time to loves to be outdoors and travel home to Kentucky; but when I'm not doing those activities she is busy being the CHS Assistant Cheerleading Coach.

Ms. Brown chose education because she wants to be able to impact students in a positive way that influences them to strive to be the best version of themselves. I plan to achieve this goal through engaging lessons, hands on projects, and most importantly, allowing my classroom to be a judge-free zone: where every student can feel safe to be themselves. She is very excited to get her first year underway and she feels blessed to be serving the Chillicothe City School District!

“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.” - Jackson Brown Jr.
