Be a Student Precinct Worker - Serve Our Community

It's time to prepare for election season: once again the Ross County Board of Elections is reaching out to Chillicothe High School Students to learn more about the electoral process by serving as a Precinct Location Worker. Applications are due by September 19th - so you need to turn your application in to Mr. Fisher in the CHS Main Office no later than September 16th. The Ross County Board of Elections is coordinating a Student Precinct
Election Official Program for the 11/08/16 Election. They welcome your participation in this meaningful civic activity.

Students who meet the qualifications are encouraged to participate: you must be: 
United States citizens
at least 17 years old,
residents of Ross county and 
enrolled in their senior year of high school

You must agree to be available to work at any polling location in Ross County.

Additionally, each student who is or will be eighteen years old on or before the day of the general election may register to vote by submitting a voter registration form. If the student is already registered, please DO NOT complete another form. The student should check "Already Registered" on the Permission form. A copy of proof of registration is not required.

All student precinct election officials are required to attend a training session. Training will take place on October 20, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Training will be held at the
