Tiffin students strive to create new ways to explore space with NASA projects

Tiffin 5th and 6th graders are working with Girl Scout Leader Amanda Williams to complete STEM activities designed by NASA.  The 6th graders are creating rockets that will be air powered to see how the design affects the distance the rockets fly.  The 5th grade students are designing lunar landers to safely land their astronauts on the moon.  The students only get a small Dixie cup, 6 small marshmallows, 4 straws, and 3 pieces of card stock to create their designs.  We're looking forward to seeing more photos and results soon!  Go Cavs!  You can see more photos from this activity on the Chillicothe City Schools Facebook page.
